Twiggy and the looks she inspires come to mind when I imagine living during the 60s. I am so very fond of many past decades, but the sixties probably top my chart. Because I am so drawn to the music, fashion, and social revolutions which formed this decade, I sometimes entertain the idea of reincarnation. Surely if ever I lived a previous life, I was living it during the 60s. Whether I am living the past, or re-living it, Twiggy will always inspire my wardrobe's direction.

My Hero
I fell in love the first time I stumbled upon Bill Cunningham's photographs within the New York Times' Style section. Not only did I fall in love with his photographs, but with the concept behind them. Cunningham's On the Street features everyday people presenting themselves to the world fashionably. While I have not yet had the honor of meeting Bill in person, I experienced his charm through the documentary, Bill Cunningham New York, a film by Richard Press. Watching the film inspired me tremendously and made me much more excited to get this blog rolling. Join me as I venture to do what Bill and other street style photographers have done to unveil the world of fashion right outside our doorsteps.

Oklahoma City Street Fashion
I feel the need to give credit to everyday fashionable Oklahomans on the streets. Fashion has been very important to me for what seems all my life. And so, inspired by The Sartorialist, I am starting this Oklahoma City - based blog. I dedicate this blog to those of you that catch my eye! Enjoy!
